I didn't know what I was doing had a name

Hello

Thank you for subscribing, joining, and following me down this winding path.

Since my grand artist Linkedin reveal, life has gotten quite busy- in the best way...

3 weeks ago I started grad school for teaching at Hunter College.

I hope you are not surprised I ended up here.

And I want my art to be a part of this chapter. I want to keep growing my work and finding ways to steep it into my everyday life. Even as a teacher.

So to honor this oath, I will create a blog post once a week. Sharing a thought, drawing, or a hello. I take no offense for those who exit now.

One of my two classes this semester is titled "Art integration in Education".

I haven't been taught art since High School. Everything I do is lead by intuition and defined by my mood.

Each week we play with a new medium and wonder, could a 4 year old do this?

This week we learned about gestural and contour line drawings.

"Oh" I said

"What?" said my classmate

"This is what type of artist I am"
